Venue: Fountain Court, Sandton City Shopping Centre Date: Friday, 9 December to Saturday, 24 December Centre Shopping Hours: 9am to 7pm from Monday to Thursday; 9am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday; 9am to 6pm on Sunday and public holidays. Ringing in the festive season, Sandton City lit up the lives of children from Reach For A Dream with festive fun, hosting them at a special Smurfs show where 20 children with life-threatening illnesses were delighted and met the bubbly blue creatures. Making the experience extra special, Sandton City retailers Build-a-Bear and McDonald’s embraced the spirit of giving and presented each youngster a special treat of a McDonald’s Happy Meal and a Build-a-Bear voucher.
